Wallsend Six-A-Side Football is back for Season Two: Bigger, Better, Best. We welcome all teams who participated in Season One to return and compete in this year’s competition. The competition will begin on Tuesday, September 13th, with registrations closing on September 4th. Season Two will see a diverse range of divisions and timeslots available to teams, including:
Tuesday night, 6.00pm to 8.00pm: Over 35s Men Division One and Two, and All-Age Men Division One, Two and Three.
Thursday night, 6.00pm to 8.00pm: All-Age Women Division One and Two, and All-Age Men Division One, Two and Three.
Sunday afternoon, 2.00pm to 8.00pm: Under 14s, Under 16s, Mixed Division, All-Age Women, All-Age Men.
As always, this is open to team and player requests, we may move divisions to suit interest, but the competition schedule will largely follow this set-up.
The competition will run for a period of fourteen weeks, run weekly, until the completion of a Finals Series. Each division will comprise of six teams, with the top-four going through to the Finals Series.
Prize-money: Senior Teams: $750 for winners, $250 for runners-up. Junior Teams: $350 for winners, $150 for runners-up.
